Society School Outreach

The Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Society provides outreach to any elementary, middle school, or high school teacher who wishes to teach one of Rawlings’s works in the classroom. Sally Baskin Hooker, the niece of Norton Baskin, visits schools in the costume and persona of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. She talks about Florida in the 1930s and 40s and Rawlings’s life as a writer. Contact her house-of-hookers@juno.com
